Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump postponed his scheduled news conference on Friday to announce his running mate.

Trump tweeted that the “horrible attack in Nice, France,” prompted him to hold off on the event that had been scheduled for 11 a.m. in New York.

Roll Call reported on Thursday that Trump has selected Indiana Gov. Mike Pence to round out the GOP ticket.
